Condition
Original canvas which is slightly uneven in the upper half and has light creases in places. There is some light surface dirt and the varnish has discololoured. There is a light surface scratch in the top left corner and in places elsewhere. UV light reveals retouching to the left edge and in spots of retouching elsewhere, though an opaque layer of discoloured varnish prevents a more conclusive examination. Held in an ornate gold painted wood and plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
