Condition
The canvas appears to be lined. There is some light surface dirt and fine lines of craquelure in patches throughout. UV light reveals areas of retouching to the sitter's face and bust and further patches elsewhere throughout and a layer of discoloured varnish. Held in a simple black wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
