Condition

Original canvas which is slack in the stretcher.. The paint surface is quite dirty and thin in places, especially in the sky where the weave of the canvas is visible. There are a few fine lines of craquelure where the paint has been applied thickly. UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
