Condition

Pencil and colored crayons on paper laid down on board. In the lower left corner the paper appears to be cut and repaired. The edges of the composition are uneven and the paper is very slightly buckled. Held in a wood frame with cloth slip and under glass. Unexamined out of frame.

This work is a study for the painting of the same title, executed in 1916.
