Condition
The surface is in good condition. Surface is slightly dirty and covered with a layer of slightly yellowed varnish. There is very minor paint loss around edges, particularly in the upper right corner. The paint layer is flaking slightly in the lower left area, where the stool is. Under UV, two spots of inpainting on the woman's lower back and vertical area of inpainting from the white in the dress all the way down to the lower edge of the panel. Some traces of inpainting at extreme upper left edge. Held in a wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
