Condition
Good general condition. Colour and patina are very good. The joints of both are loose. One seat has water marks. One chair has later metal brackets beneath the seat rail. The other has fixing holes for brackets but no brackets. This chair also has later inset diamond shaped patches on the back of splat where it adjoins the seat. The front rail,back rails, front legs and stretcher are of fruit wood suggesting that the chair has been damaged and been extensively restored. The front rail has diamond patches visible from above. The joints of both are loose.
