Vintage silver print. On the reverse with negative number L 196  in pencil by the photographer and with photographer's and copyright stamps.

Condition

Le coin supérieur droit avec une forte pliure fixée au verso par un adhésif tissu, le coin inférieur droit légèrement abimé, autrement en excellent état. In excellent condition, apart from a visible crease in the upper right corner fixed on the reverse with adhesive tissue and a slightly bumped lower right corner.

Catalogue Note

La photographie de Renger-Patzsch probablement la plus connue, intitulée Das Bäumchen, date du printemps 1929 et porte le numéro du négatif L148. Il est donc à supposer que l'image Eifellandschaft portant le numéro L196 fut prise un peu plus tard.
La composition des deux photographies est très semblable; Eifellandschaft se distingue pourtant par son graphisme plus contrasté et par sa vue plus plongeante sur le paysage.
