Description
- Peter Beard
- 'BORAN WOMAN AT MARSABIT HOSPITAL, MARCH 1962, FOR THE END OF THE GAME'
signed, titled, and dated in ink and with red and black ink partial hand print on the image, framed, and stamped on the reverse, 1962, printed later (End of the Game, unpaginated)
Condition
This print has not been removed from its frame. The paper appears to be somewhat wavy, as is typical of most Peter Beard photographs that have ink or drawing on them. There are 2 tiny nicks in the black margin edges at the upper left and lower right. In raking light, soft and sharp handling creases are visible at the upper right and left edges and in the lower portion. These do not detract from the attractive appearance of this print.
On the reverse of the frame are the copyright/reproduction rights stamp and The Time Is Always Now, New York, gallery and information labels.
