Condition
The illustration is too dark.
The overall condition is pretty fine with some minor marks and scratches overall. The edges which are fragile parts show some chips and minor veneer lifting in places.
The main damage is on the curved back of the head support with a long and horizontal crack where the veneer is lifting and partly missing. This is due to the shape of the back. It is hidden by the cushious.
The matress is 180 cm x 130 cm.
All cushion and cover bed are included in the lot. The giltbronze mounts are very good with a fine chasing and gilding. Very attractive piece, lot of interest.
To recommend. Conservative estimate.

Catalogue Note
