Description
- 82cm. high, 131cm. diameter; 2ft. 8¼in., 4ft. 3½in.
with a moulded top above a frieze applied with a patera flanked by bellflowers on s-scrolled legs applied with an acanthus leaf and patera on each side teminating in paw feet joined by a stylised star-shaped stretcher on brass castors; marble top restored
Condition
Marble top has been restored which has been well executed. Some minor water staining to the marble top and old minor scratches. There are construction cracks around the moulded edge above the legs and hairline cracks in the stretcher as visible from the catalogue photograph which can easily be filled. There are some minor restorations and chips to the veneer commensurate with normal age and usage and some minor patches to veneer. The frieze has been strengthened internally. An attractive lot in overall good condition.
