Description

  • 78cm. high, 258cm. wide, 106cm. deep; 2ft. 6¼in., 8ft. 5½in., 3ft. 5½in.
with a rectangular moulded mottled grey marble top above a frieze inlaid with an alternating band of anthemions and foliage on block supports inlaid with scrolling foliage on four standing Greek caryatids joined by an H-form stretcher with ebonised mouldings throughout

Condition

The brass inlay is lifting in some places and need restoration. The central section of the stretcher has suffered badly as there are several sections generally missing which will need attention. There are also minor chips and wear to ebonised moulding, and there are also some losses to the brass inlay. Some pieces of moulding at the pilasters are loose, but once restored the table will look most impressive.
