Description

the gadrooned body on a guilloche carved base, together with a green marble tazza with lizard carrying handles, and an Italian nero e bianco marble basin, probably 17th century; together with an Italian white marble basin, probably 18th century, with a moulded rim; restorationsthe two basins unillustrated 

Condition

The vase à navette is in good condition with some chips to the top edge, and a hairline crack to one side, the rim has a repaired break to the edge, the base is chipped. The tazza is in good condition, it has repaired breaks in three places with some fragmentation, filled in sections and chips to the repaired areas. The basin is in good condition though with large chips to the rim and further, more minor, chips throughout. the vase 26cm high, 40cm wide, 26cm. deep; 10in., 1ft.3½in., 10in.; the tazza 18cm. high, 31cm. wide, 20cm. deep; 7in., 1ft., 8 in.; the basin 14cm. high, 55cm. wide, 46 deep; 5½in., 1ft. 9½in., 1ft.6in.;white basin; 17cm.high , 42cm wide, 28cm deep; 6¾in., 1ft. 4½in., 11in.
