Condition

Good condition overall. A small restored break to the seam of Alba's dress and a restoration to Antar's hand holding the gun. Antar's gun is made of wood and metal. Dimensions of the statues as follows: Antar allover height : 103 cm width of base : 28 cm depth of base: 37,5 cm Alba height 100 cm width 28 cm depth 38,5 cm

Le modèle de ces deux statues fut créé par le sculpteur Désurmond et donna lieu à de nombreux tirages en trois tailles (32, 71 et 100 cm) par la manufacture viennoise de Friedrich Goldscheider (1845-1897), connue pour ses éditions en terre cuite orientalistes.
