Condition
Good condition overall. A small restored break to the seam of Alba's dress and a restoration to Antar's hand holding the gun. Antar's gun is made of wood and metal.

Catalogue Note
Le modèle de ces deux statues fut créé par le sculpteur Désurmond et donna lieu à de nombreux tirages en trois tailles (32, 71 et 100 cm) par la manufacture viennoise de Friedrich Goldscheider (1845-1897), connue pour ses éditions en terre cuite orientalistes.
