4to (210 x 142 mm), al frontespizio ritratto xilografico dell'autore, antica annotazione a penna e firma di appartenenza M.o Geronimo de Ribera, piantina incisa in legno a doppia pagina, su A8 antica annotazione con l'epitaffio di Francesco I al sepolcro di madonna Laura, su B2 verso e B3 recto altra nota sul sepolcro, annotazione sul verso dell'ultima carta datata 1585, marocchino marrone coevo impresso in oro con cornici concentriche e losanga centrale, dorso a mervi impresso in oro, tagli dorati e punzonati, entro astuccio moderno in pelle. Un piccolo foro di tarlo che talvolta tocca il testo, alcune righe cassate a penna da mano antica, lievi aloni di umidità marginali, le estremità del dorso rifatte.

A small worm-hole mostly on the white margin of the first 100 leaves, but sometimes touching the text (it gets a bit larger on the gatherings K-M), some lines are cancelled with old ink on 2 leaves, slight water staining at upper margin, spine's foot and head restored.
