Condition
From a first hand inspection a push-pin hole is visible in the top left-hand corner, a superficial scratch over the hair and some small losses over the hair top right-hand side (see image in the catalogue).
The ultra violet light reveals fluorescent varnish partially removed form the background, a retouch over the lips, one over the right eye and 6 others over the right ear and hair next to it.
The painting needs a careful cleansing.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
