  • A Steatite Figure of Osiris
  • Height from modern base 16 1/4 in. 41.3 cm.
standing against a back pillar on a rectangular base rounded in front and holding the crook and flail, and wearing a chevron-engraved beard and the atef-crown with uraeus, his face with long philtrum, broad slightly upturned nose, and long eyebrows and cosmetic lines in relief.

Condition

Repaired across knees with small loss across back pillar, minor chips and scratches overall, notes very slight dents to extremities such as nose, mouth, uraeus , tips of feathers, etc., figure is fastened with a dowel onto an old wood base inscribed in front with number 300 in red pencil.
