Condition

Relined. under a dirty, discolored old varnish. the paint surface has been well preserved with nice impasto throughout. there is an old area of repair visible to naked eye at th, and near her armpit. some slight lifting can be seem in these areas, but it looks stable. under UV: there are small retouches and inpaints of craquelure on left forehead and eye of Christ child; a few tiny retouches on Virgin's face and right edge of her hair; a few other very small retouches here and there. painting would benefit from a light cleaning and re-addressing of the old restorations.
