  • A Syrian Limestone Head of a Youth, Palmyra
  • Height 11 in. 28 cm.
with bow-shaped lips, straight nose, and almond-shaped eyes beneath grooved eyebrows, his long hair arranged in rows of voluted curls and surmounted by a Phrygian cap with beaded, volute, and rosette decoration.
