Condition

The painting is slightly cooler in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The single flat panel is cradled to the reverse. The paint surface is clean and under a thick. The painting appears generally in good condition to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light reveals only very minor scattered retouchings. Offered in a carved and painted wood frame with old inactive worm holes.
