Condition
The catalogue illustration is representative for the actual painting.
The copper plate has a small dent in the upper left corner, but, otherwise, is flat and stable. The paint surface is sound. A few tiny restored paint losses can be observed along the lower edge. Inspection under UV reveals an additional small spot of retouching in the tree upper left and in the house lower right. The paint surface is under a dull and dirty layer of varnish, and a new varnish would improve the tonality of the paint surface.
Offered in a decorative gilt wood frame in good condition.
