Condition

The actual painting is lees blue and more yellow in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The single copper plate is sound. There's a minor dent in the upper right corner, but otherwise, no damages are apparent. There's minor frame abrasion along the lowr and right edges. The paint layer appears to be in good condition and is under a dirty and dull layer if varnish. Under UV light minor retouchings along the edges, in the lower right corner and in the sky can be made out, as well as minor strengthening in the trees on the left, in the cows, and in the bridge. Offered in a decorative gilt wood frame in fair condition. (MW)
