Description
- Pierre-Auguste Renoir
- Les laveuses, 2e pensee (D.; S. 53)
- Sheet: 470 by 630mm; 18 1/2 by 24 3/4 in
Lithograph, circa 1910, from the edition of 30-50, on MBM laid paper, the full sheet, in good condition except the sheet edges discoloured, remains of paper tape along the upper sheet edge verso, pale light-staining, the verso with backboard-staining
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. The sheet edges have discoloured over time and there are a few tiny associated nicks at left and at lower edge of sheet. Pale light-staining has darkened the paper tone over all and it is darker on the verso due to mount-staining. Remains of paper tape run along the upper sheet edge verso. Minor handling creases can be seen in raking light.
