Condition
Light horizontal crease in centre. Small repaired losses, centre right edge. Some light brown stains and surface dirt throughout, but ink generally very good and fresh. Unframed.

Catalogue Note
The same motif of young women carrying plants is found in a 1585 design by the Monogrammist St.K in Bremen. The shield bears the arms of Count Ernst I of Solms-Lich (1527-1590), as recorded on a shield dating from 1587.
