Condition
Remains of old backing strip around all four edges, verso. A few tabs of paper from old mounting stuck to verso. Some light foxing, but otherwise good and fresh.

Catalogue Note
The drawing belongs to a large group of similar figure studies which were initially drawn in black chalk (or black lead) by either Adriaen or Isack van Ostade, and later substantially reworked and washed by Dusart.1
