- recto: the entombment; verso: a flying angel and a female figure
- Pen and brown ink (recto and verso) with brown wash heightened with beige on paper washed light brown (recto)
Condition
This must be a fragment from a larger sheet - the drawing on the verso is not complete. In quite good condition, some tiny ink surface stains, possibly from contact with a wet brown wash, and a few light brown stains near the female figure on the verso. The recto in good condition, a tiny pin point dark stain to the left of the sheet, near the left leg of the Madonna.
