Condition

Canvas is lined. SURFACE: surface has been compressed from relining, although color and pigment retention is good; fine craquelure throughout--cupping and resultant flaking at left (throughout area of brown pillars) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: a small, horizontal repaired tear, about 2 in. long at upper right; a few small strokes (also about 2 in. long) of repaint--maybe for small tears or paint loss--at lower left, and two at lower center; aside from this several scattered dots and dashes of inpaint
