Catalogue Note
The three-year old mare Levee won several races in the year 1956, among which the Selima Stakes, The Coaching Club American Oaks at Belmont Park and The Monmounth Oaks. Her winning streak ended that year after thirteen races and her owner, Mrs. Cady, decided to retire her from racing and bread her to another champion.
