Condition

Lined canvas. Craquelure through most of the canvas and prominent pigment separation in the sky at upper left quadrant. Repairs along the lower edge, where the paint has lifted and flaked at some point are covered by slightly milky varnish. The same can be seen along the left and right edges. Under Uv light: selective cleaning on all light colored areas; the rider at left and the one at right show some minor touch-ups. The repairs along the abovementioned edges are only partially visible under UV light, most of them being obscured by varnish. A fairly large area of inpainting at center of upper edge.
