The offered table in the Empire style, takes its inspiration with its female caryatid supports from the magnificent model by Georges-Alphonse Desmalter upon which this table is loosely based which was originally in the bedroom of Caroline Murat in 1808, in the Elysée Palace during the Empire period and is now in the Grand Trianon.
