The carved jadeite Chinese belt hook designed as a stylized dragon, accented by round diamonds and cabochon rubies, internal circumference 6 inches, signed David Webb, and Webb.

Condition

Gross weight approximately 98 dwts., set with 28 round diamonds approximately H-I color and VS-SI clarity. and 2 semi-opaque cabochon rubies. The jadeite is probably late 19th century or early 20th century, the bracelet was designed around the jadeite piece. A few places with light abrading, surface-reaching fissures and a small chip along an edge at the top segment of the jadeite. Hinged on two sides at the back. In good condition.
