Description
- Van Cleef & Arpels
Set with rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.35 carats, lozenge-shaped sapphires, a cabochon sapphire, and calibré-cut rubies, mounted in gold, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, NY, numbered 14197.
Condition
Good condition with minimal wear to the domed mounting (depth approximately 1 1/8 inch). The medium-deep blue sapphires and vibrant purplish red rubies are eye-clean and well-matched. The rose-cut diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. One of the c-clasps appears to be a replacement. Although stamped 14K on the clasp the mounting itself tests as higher karatage, but unmarked.
