  • Ruby, diamond and platinum
Cushion-shaped and oval rubies weighing a total of approximately 62.00 carats, accented by half-moon-shaped, round, single-cut, baguette and epaulette-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 9.60 carats, mounted in platinum, length 6 inches, signed Cartier, numbered 7223.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 40639 stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin; Heat enhancement: None. Set with 29 oval and cushion-shaped rubies of medium slightly pinkish red to medium deep slightly purplish red, very slightly to heavily included; many of the rubies have surface-reaching inclusions and minor chipping, most with abrasions to the facet junctions. Also set with 2 half-moon-shaped diamonds, 6 baguette diamonds, 2 epaulette-cut diamonds, and 42 round and single-cut diamonds approximately G-I color and VS-SI clarity. Exceptionally supple, well made and in good condition. Signed Cartier and numbered 7223 on side of foldover clasp.
