Description

The oval cabochon opal weighing 25.69 carats, framed by small round diamonds, the sides and band further decorated with small round diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 1.80 carats, mounted in platinum, size 6.

Condition

Very good condition. The opal presents a moderately-strong play-of-color of blue, green and violet. The accompanying GIA report states that the opal is semi-transparent to translucent dark gray and measures approximately 27.45 by 15.60 by 10.35 mm. Diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS clarity.
