The modified rectangular plaque pierced with a central lattice motif, set with 149 old European-cut and single-cut diamonds and 4 baguette diamonds weighing approximately 11.40 carats, the borders accented with two rows of calibré-cut sapphires, mounted in platinum, signed Lacloche Frères, French assay mark.
Condition
The undercarriage to the mounting is warped/indented, but this does not affect the appearance of the brooch when worn. In otherwise good condition with general wear to the mounting. The medium blue sapphires are eye-clean; several with minor chipping. The diamonds are approximately G-H-I color, VS-SI clarity.
