The double-strand composed of 78 cultured pearls measuring approximately 9.8 to 8.9 mm., completed by an oval-shaped clasp set with a cabochon sapphire, framed by segments of fluted coral and set with 7 square-shaped diamonds, mounted in 18 karat gold, length 16 inches, signed Verdura.
Condition
The pearls are a creamy rose hue, with overtones of green, with good luster and minor to moderate blemishing. The sapphire in the clasp measures approximately 14.2 x 10.5 mm, is a medium blue color, translucent, and has a small chip. The coral is mottled in color and the diamonds are approximately .45 ct, G-H color and VS clarity. Marked CG above Verdura signature on back of clasp. In good condition. Strands appear to have been recently restrung.
