Condition

For another example of this type of design referred to as "Ludo Hexagone", see Van Cleef & Arpels, by Sylvie Raulet, p. 186. The design is characterized by a mosaic patterning of hexagonal-shaped polished gold links termed a ruches (beehive), and each link is accented with a serti etoile (star-set) stone. Named after Louis "Ludo" Arpels, the initial design was first introduced by Van Cleef and Arpels in 1934. The diamonds are approximately F-G color and VVS-VS clarity. Some discoloration to the gold in a few places, but all pieces in good condition. All three pieces signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered. Also with French assay marks and maker's mark for Pery et Fils. Very well made, of good heft, bracelet is flexible and comfortable to wear.
