The necklace composed of 3 stylized lozenge-shaped links set with 3 cabochon rubies, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately 2.70 carats, completed by a polished gold link chain, length 16 inches, the earclips of similar design set with 2 cabochon rubies, framed by round diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats, both signed VCA, necklace numbered 498 H-I and earrings numbered 518 H-I.
Condition
Hefty, well made and in overall good condition. The rubies are semi-opaque, deep purplish red, with some surface-reaching inclusions. Diamonds are approximately F-H color and VS-SI clarity. Some scratching to the surface of the gold. The necklace fitted with a safety closure which needs to be tightened, and could be done so by a jeweler.
