Description
The articulated necklace composed of alexandrites of various shapes, spaced by heart-shaped and marquise-shaped diamonds, suspending a similarly-set fringe to the front, the alexandrites and diamonds together weighing approximately 50.59 and 13.28 carats respectively, mounted in platinum, length approximately 420 mm.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin reports, the eight larger cushion-shaped alexandrites, heart- and pear-shaped alexandrites to the front are certified and natural, of Brazilian origin. According to GIA report, the heart-shaped diamond is F colour, VVS2 clarity. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the alexandrites are generally matching, displaying pronounced colour-change from bluish-green or blue-green colour in daylight, to purple colour in incandescent light. The clarity is good which all alexandrites are clean to both naked eyes and loupe check, very lively stones. The marquise diamonds are about E to F colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Elegant setting sits well on neck, in mint condition.

Accompanied by Gübelin reports stating that ten of the alexandrites ranging from 2.03 to 3.75 carats are natural, of Brazilian origin, displaying a pronounced colour-change; also accompanied by GIA report numbered 8476946, dated 29 June 2007, stating that the 3.02 carat diamond is F colour, VVS2 clarity.
