Sapphire and diamond necklace

The front designed as a series of variously-cut sapphires bordered by single-cut diamonds, spaced by brilliant-cut stones, the back set with similar diamonds, mounted in white gold, one diamond deficient, length approximately 435mm.

Stamped 750 for gold. Sapphires estimated to weigh approximately 40.00 carats in total, medium colour saturation, typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, some small nicks and abrasion to facet junctions, one stone chipped. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 8.00 carats in total, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity (a few I). Signs of normal wear to the metal. Secure clasp with safety catch. In good condition.
