Coral and diamond brooch, Van Cleef & Arpels, 1970s

Of floral design, with carved coral petals, to the brilliant-cut diamond set pistil, mounted in yellow gold, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay and indistinct maker's marks.

Stamped 750 for gold, French assay and maker's marks, signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, numbered 90246. Coral of light orangy pink with white mottling, one petal edge with a minor nick. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.80 carats in total, generally G-H colour, VS clarity. Very little signs of wear. In good condition.
