Description

The articulated band set with twelve bezel-set cushion-shaped and circular-cut rubies spaced by lines of French- and step-cut diamonds, to a yellow gold engraved gallery of fan-shaped design, length approximately 175mm, numbered.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of jadeite or ruby into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Metal tested as platinum and gold. Signed M D and numbered 35151. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 54909 stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Rubies estimated to weigh approximately 12.00 - 13.00 carats in total, of pinkish red colour, well matched, good colour saturation with typical crystal inclusions (some reaching surface), minor nicks and abrasion to facet edges. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 16.00 - 18.00 carats in total, generally H-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Normal signs of wear to the metal commensurate with age and wear. Clasp secure, with safety catch. In good condition.
