Of bombé design, set with cabochon emeralds and rubies, to a border of quatrefoil motifs set with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in yellow gold, size 51½, with sizing band, signed M. Gérard and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of ruby into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Stamped 750 for gold, numbered 578. Signed M. Gérard, French assay marks for gold. Emeralds and rubies well matched, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface reaching, but not distracting when worn. A few scratches and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 6.00 carats, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity (few I). Normal signs of wear to the ring, scratches commensurate with age and use. In good condition.
