Group of five gem-set bracelets

Comprising: two hinged bangles, one set with rubies, one set with sapphires, circumference approximately 170mm and 165mm respectively; one set with opals and diamonds, circumference approximately 160mm; one set with a ruby and diamonds, circumference approximately 165mm, the other set with emeralds and diamonds, circumference approximately 175mm, the latter two unillustrated.

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Metal tested as gold, emerald bangle stamped 375 for gold. One set with oval rubies, purplish red colour, good saturation, overall well matched, some typical crystal inclusions (some reaching surface), minor nicks and abrasion to facet edges. One set with oval and cushion-shaped sapphires, medium colour saturation, overall well matched, some typical crystal inclusions (some reaching surface), minor nicks and abrasion to facet edges. Highlighted by two small rose-cut diamonds. One set with cabochon opals and circular- and single-cut diamonds, numbered 8509, opals well matched with good play of colour, diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.70 carats in total, generally H-I colour, SI clarity (a few I), one stone chipped. One set with a cushion-shaped ruby within a border of circular-cut diamonds, ruby purplish pink colour with typical crystal inclusions, diamonds mixed in colour and clarity, tarnish to gold. The last one set with oval and circular-cut emeralds and circular- and single-cut diamonds, emeralds medium saturation, typical crystal inclusions reaching surface, nicks and chips, diamonds mixed in colour and clarity. All with safety chains. Minor scratches to metal, some with light tarnish. Signs of normal wear, in good condition.
