Description

The brooch decorated with an oval emerald within an enamel surround, the ring claw-set with an similarly shaped emerald, ring size 53.

Condition

Brooch: Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 46342 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, minor oil. Typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, minor nicks and abrasions. Ring: Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 46341 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with moderate oil. Typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, minor chips and abrasions around girdle. Mounted in yellow gold. Both with signs of normal wear to the mount, scratches consistent with wear, minor losses to enamel on the ring. In good condition.
