Condition
There are two sets of pinholes to the paper by the upper right corner and another one by the lower left corner. There are some drip marks along the lower part of the paper which could be inherent to the artist's use of medium. There are two areas where the paper surface is not smooth—most likely occurred during the laying down process. One of them located by the stem of the orange in the far left of the composition and the other area is located in the bottom center edge. The laying down of the paper on canvas and then on masonite was most likely done by the artist or his studio as the stretcher is marked with the artist's handwriting. Overall, the work is in very good condition.
