Condition

(This condition report has been provided courtesy of Wilson Conservation) The sculpture is in very good condition. The figure displays a uniform black patina that is in very good condition. Minor wear to the patina can be seen on top of the thighs, her back next to her hair and along the bottom edge of the base. There are several very small areas of patina loss on the top of the base by the proper right buttock. Tiny gold specks were noticed on the outside of the proper right arm. A faint 1 ¼ in. long mark appears slightly lighter in color on the top of the raised proper left arm. No significant scratches or abrasions were observed on the surface. The sculpture has been recently cleaned and displays a fresh protective wax coating on the surface. The sculpture is structurally sound.
