Condition
The canvas is unlined and loosely stretched—There is significant buckling of the canvas and this piece would benefit greatly from being re-stretched.
There are some frame abrasions to the upper edge as well as the upper area of the right edge. There is some craquelure to the paint on the upper right quadrant. There appears to be some surface staining to the figure's white pants. There is a 4 in. vertical indent in the yellow, central section of the composition, most likely cause by the current stretcher. There is a 1 in. strip of abrasion above the woman's right foot.
