Condition
((This condition report has been provided courtesy of Mary Kearns Paper Conservation)
The paper is very fragile but has a backing for support. The backing is separating in a few areas and could be re-humidified and consolidated. Some areas of paper loss have been filled. However, there are still a few areas where there is paper loss. The paper is oxidized and because of its condition I would not recommend cleaning. The charcoal is very stable. Overall, the piece is in fair condition.
