Condition
There are multiple nicks to the central light blue areas where the cubes are inserted. There is also dirt accumulated in the corners of this section. Furthermore, there are some nicks to the dark blue surface, specifically some rubbing to the upper left corner and a couple of nicks on the left edge and one by the lower right corner. The sides of the piece also show some dark staining, particularly the right and the bottom sides. They are most likely from a previous restoration.
The movable cubes show consistent nicks, rubbing and staining and in some cases craquelure.
