Condition
(This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Conservation, Inc.)
This painting is in beautiful condition. The canvas appears to have been re-stretched at some point or possibly the tacking has been augmented. The canvas is beautifully stretched.
The delicate and unique paint layer is in lovely condition and there are no damages or retouches. The scraping to the paint on the far left and in the middle is all original. The slightly light colored spots in the lower center in the brown above the green is also original. All of Tamayo's unique touches are beautifully preserved and the picture should be hung as is.
